Niro is an anime and manga tracker for iPhone and Android. This page explains how to reach us, and how to report a post or block a person in the app.
Contact
- Email. support@getniro.xyz for bug reports, feature requests, questions about your account, or anything else. In the app, Settings, then Support & Feedback, then Contact Me opens the same address.
- Discord. The Niro Discord is where Niro users talk and hear about new versions first.
Report a Post
Forum threads, comments, reviews, activity and replies in Niro come from AniList. Each one has Report in its ⋯ menu, and a long press on a card opens the same menu. Report and Block are in Niro 1.13.0 and later. Report does two things:
- It hides the post in Niro on your phone at once. Undo brings it back.
- It opens the post on anilist.co, where AniList's own Report sends it to AniList's moderators. You may need to sign in to AniList in your browser.
AniList's moderators handle reports of AniList content and decide what comes down. Niro shows AniList as it is, so a post they remove disappears from Niro too. AniList gives apps no way to file a report, so Niro can't send one for you.
A MyAnimeList review hides the same way, and Report opens it on myanimelist.net. To report a person, open their profile in Niro and use ⋯, then Report: it opens their AniList profile, which has its own Report.
Block a Person
Block is in the ⋯ menu of every post and profile. It hides that person in Niro on this phone: their threads, comments, reviews, activity and likes. They aren't told.
A block in Niro stays on this phone, with the Niro account you are signed in to. It doesn't block them on AniList. To block them everywhere, block them on anilist.co too: Niro honours blocks made there, on every phone.
To unblock someone, open their profile in Niro, or go to Settings, then Accounts, then Blocked People.
Reports and Blocks Stay on Your Phone
Reports and blocks stay on your phone; Niro's servers receive nothing about them. Signing out keeps them for your next sign-in. Deleting your Niro account or uninstalling Niro removes them.
Shared Shelves
Shelves are made by Niro users, and a shared shelf is hosted by Niro, not AniList. To report one, email its link to support@getniro.xyz.
Delete Your Account
In the app, go to Settings, then Support & Feedback, and tap Delete Niro Account (Niro 1.13.0 and later). If you can't use the app, Delete Your Niro Account explains how to ask by email, and what is deleted.
The Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service explain what Niro collects and the rules for using it.
